Process/Concept:
"Abundance Mindset" captures the visual and emotional weight of cultivating a positive perspective. As part of the Scarcity & Stewardship collection, this piece utilizes bee and honeycomb imagery as a metaphor for community, cultivation, and perspective. The dense, full honeycombs represent what becomes possible when we get out of our own way and allow ourselves to believe in our own potential. So often, our dreams only scratch the surface of what is truly available to us. Here, an abundance mindset is presented as a superpower—one essential not just for outward prosperity, but for profound inner peace. Through its vibrant colors and tactile, lush textures, the work invites viewers to reflect on their personal narratives and the ways those stories shape their reality.
From the Artist:
The final look of a piece is always my primary concern, but the journey to get there is highly experimental. I love the creative challenge of utilizing secondhand materials and finding unexpected ways to give new life to studio scraps. While I don't strictly define my practice by eco-friendly labels, I prefer working with natural fibers like cotton and wool simply because they make the physical act of creating feel more luxurious and enjoyable. In terms of environmental impact and longevity, I view durability as a reflection of technique. Macrame is inherently structural; a piece isn't truly complete if it isn't built to last. I focus on creating with a high level of skill, ensuring that the art will stand the test of time regardless of where the materials came from.

Items purchased through our Craft Fair Exhibitors will have applied shipping rates set by the exhibitor and will vary. Allow 2 weeks for orders to ship.
Exhibition Shipping Rates are not calculated at checkout, but will be invoiced separately to reflect the exact shipping cost of the item.
*Please note that all online and in-person purchases of Exhibition work while the show is up will remain in the gallery until the show's end date. After the show's end date the work can be picked up or shipped to you.
Special Rate Items are items that are over-sized or not eligible for free shipping over $250. You total order will be charged a flat rate of $25 to ship. Special Rate Items will be noted as such in the item's description.

Sales Tax
Peters Valley is required to charge sales tax on purchases shipped to New Jersey.
Insurance
Insurance can be purchased separately through third-party company Route during checkout. Route provides protection for shipments that are lost, broken, or stolen. Route is added to your cart at checkout to enable protection by default, but can be removed if you chose to opt out of insuring your order. If you choose to opt out of the Route Insurance, and your package is lost, stolen or damaged, you will have to file a claim with the shipping carrier directly.
