Belted Kingfisher - Classic Scarf
Hand painted and hand dyed tencel scarf. Made of Eucalyptus fiber and sustainably grown and harvested seaweed fibers. Machine washable in delicate bag on cold. Can go in dryer on air dry.
Sydney Sogol - NC is a weaver and dyer, whose mission is to create bold color and pattern interactions through original designs. She creates one-of-a-kind and limited edition pieces inspired by her years of studying art, ornithology, and marine biology. Each piece is handwoven in unique designs with hidden messages. She utilizes sustainable plant yarns custom hand dyed and hand painted to pay homage to that creature’s natural beauty and unique story. To achieve this, she creates unique colorways that are hand painted and dyed that mimics the gorgeous colors found in nature. Sogol runs a sustainability focused business Syd's Threads. Syd’s Threads brings you closer to nature with exquisite handwoven goods that celebrate the beauty, harmony, and colors found in nature. Weaving stories of nature one thread at a time that are kind to the planet. We are committed to an approach to designing and creating luxury goods that centers sustainability, craftsmanship, and conscious living. By weaving together the beauty of the natural world with the elegance of slow making, we aim to inspire a deeper connection between people and the planet.
Shipping

Items purchased through our Craft Fair Exhibitors will have applied shipping rates set by the exhibitor and will vary. Allow 2 weeks for orders to ship.
Exhibition Shipping Rates are not calculated at checkout, but will be invoiced separately to reflect the exact shipping cost of the item.
*Please note that all online and in-person purchases of Exhibition work while the show is up will remain in the gallery until the show's end date. After the show's end date the work can be picked up or shipped to you.
Special Rate Items are items that are over-sized or not eligible for free shipping over $250. You total order will be charged a flat rate of $25 to ship. Special Rate Items will be noted as such in the item's description.

Sales Tax
Peters Valley is required to charge sales tax on purchases shipped to New Jersey.
Insurance
Insurance can be purchased separately through third-party company Route during checkout. Route provides protection for shipments that are lost, broken, or stolen. Route is added to your cart at checkout to enable protection by default, but can be removed if you chose to opt out of insuring your order. If you choose to opt out of the Route Insurance, and your package is lost, stolen or damaged, you will have to file a claim with the shipping carrier directly.
