Susan’s Scarves and hats are high quality, stylish accessories that will compliment any wardrobe. They are knitted or crocheted using a wide variety of yarns, including wool, merino, alpaca, and occasional synthetic fibers. These are used individually or combined to create soft, colorful, textured, and one-of-a-kind items, available in a wide array of colors and sizes, for children and adults. They not only provide warmth, but can also make a beautiful fashion statement.
I learned to knit, crochet and sew as a pre-teen, and I have been enjoying all three needle and hook hobbies ever since. Today, I focus mainly on crocheting winter accessories, especially hats, for all ages. Many of my hats and scarves are original designs using a wide variety of high quality yarns, employing different colors and textures for a unique one-of-a-kind accessory. They not only provide warmth, but can also make a beautiful fashion statement. I enjoy displaying my items at shows, but I also get great satisfaction from donating winter accessories to area charities.
As a pre-teen, I learned to knit, crochet and sew, and I have made many different types of items using those skills over the years. I take great pride in the wedding gown I made for my younger daughter, and the quilt and wall hanging I designed for her home. The tiny tucks in the Christening gown worn by my three oldest grandchildren also challenged my sewing skills but the result brought great satisfaction. Today, I enjoy crocheting winter hats and scarves. Many of my designs result from combining a wide variety of high quality yarns with their different colors and textures for a one-of-a-kind accessory. Though I enjoy displaying my items at shows, I get my greatest satisfaction from donating winter accessories to area charities….providing warmth and comfort for people in need.
