Kristal Romano-Salvati is a studio artist, jeweler, and metalsmith living in Baltimore, Maryland and coming from North Adams, Massachusetts where she was awarded a grant through Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA).

She earned her MFA at Montclair State University and her BFA at Kutztown University. She taught as an adjunct professor of Metalwork/Jewelry and Sculpture at Montclair State University and currently at Towson University. She also teaches workshops at The Baltimore Jewelry Center, Peters Valley School of Craft, The Gem Cutters Guild and Montgomery College. She has worked as a freelance jeweler, gallery assistant for Gallery Loupe in Montclair, NJ and as a full time bench jeweler for the designer jewelry company, Ten Thousand Things in New York City. Kristal has also been the Artist Fellow/Studio Manager for Peters Valley School of Craft Fine Metals Studio. Her artwork has been published in Art Jewelry, Ornament, and Niche magazines and exhibited nationally including NYC, and SNAG.
