We are John and Elizabeth Best,  a husband and wife team who have created fine,  one-of-a-kind, handmade jewelry, stained glass and music for over 30 years. Elizabeth is a nationally known jeweler/graphic artist who works mainly in sterling and art glass. John is a nationally known artist in stained glass and original music. This wide combination of talents brings highly unique work to the marketplace. Our motto is: “One-of-a-kind, one-at-a-time”. Every piece of work we have available for you. Due to the unique character of our work, any pieces shown are more than likely sold but will give you a good idea of the quality of our work.

"In the Jewelry, we use only sterling silver and with the glass pieces with traditional, stained glass soldering, we use only lead free solder.   For my big, art glass pieces , boxes and stands, the main solder used is 60/40, meaning 60% tin, 40% lead. Lead-free solder doesn't flow well, shine well or patina well. It is absolutely worthless for this kind of glass work. I am extremely cautious the the use of the material. The border metal that frames all my work is brass."
